Meet our founders
Rowan Lyndon
Rowan co-founded Lyndon Duhs Law on 1 November 2015. He brings more than 20 years’ legal experience, including 11 years as a partner at a leading Australian law firm.
​
Rowan has board experience too, having served on the Executive Board of a large commercial law firm and currently serving as a Non-Executive Director of the Australian arm of a large trans-Tasman industrial services group.
​
Rowan has handled a wide variety of transactions and disputes for a range of clients from high net worth individuals and families, startups and SME’s to large not for profit organisations, Australian private and publicly listed companies and multinational corporations.
​
Rowan was recognised by Best Lawyers International as one of the Best Lawyers in Australia for Defamation and Media Law in 2014 and 2015. He was also recommended in Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyer in 2010, 2012, 2016 and 2017.

Jonathan co-founded Lyndon Duhs Law on 1 November 2015. He brings more than 20 years’ legal experience, with over 5 years as a law firm partner or director. During his time based in Sydney, Jonathan spent 8 years as a senior in-house lawyer at one of Australia’s largest media & entertainment organisations, including 4 years managing the in-house disputes team handling litigation throughout Australia and overseas.

Jonathan has over 12 years' experience handling pre-publication advice, disputes, transactions and commissions of inquiry for major media organisations around Australia. He has provided pre-publication advice on many television and radio programs including Four Corners, Media Watch, 730, Enough Rope, AM, Foreign Correspondent and Hack, as well as countless news and current affairs reports for print and online media (eg The Courier-Mail) as well as television (eg WIN News) and radio. Jonathan has handled media-related litigation in just about every Australian State and Territory, and in a range of courts including the High Court of Australia.

Apart from media-related matters, Jonathan has handled a wide variety of commercial transactions and disputes for a range of clients from publicly listed companies and multinational corporations to SMEs and high net worth individuals over many years.
​
Jonathan has a keen interest, and strong background, in biomedical and computer technology, which he deploys to the advantage of clients when handling a range of intellectual property and commercial disputes and transactions.
